Title: Escapism
Rating: PG
Summary: It'll be all right.
Warnings: Aftermath of a violent event, though nothing is referred to specifically.
Notes: I keep learning things about Charlotte.
Miranda's going to be all right, and Charlotte has never felt more relieved, or more alone.
It's not that-- her relationship drama is stupid, really, compared to Miranda nearly getting killed. She's not about to bring it up. If Daniel's face still hurts somewhere in her midsection, it doesn't matter.
She tucks her knees against her chest and watches Miranda sleep. She needs to move again, but maybe her sister will need help, or she could crash with her cousins. She has options.
It'll be all right.
And if she keeps telling herself that, she's bound to believe it eventually.
